COD

it has just struck me

why didn't you just email me about the dress, instead of starting a *FRANNY thread, hmmm? Hmmmm?

GreenSepticStumps · 18/10/2006 20:36

Franny would look good in a sack, she has a perfect figure and is revoltingly pretty

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:36

lol at army jacket, funny hat, big bootsthat sums you up nicely NQC
niceglasses, could you stop posting frocks for Gransnet and find me a nice print wrap dress purlease

florenceuk · 18/10/2006 20:36

NQC, I bought a great baby doll dress in Zara - silk, scoop neck, long balloon sleeves, black with beige/brown flowers - really nice, albeit slightly maternity smock like. The bad thing about Zara is that you need to buy anything you like immediately otherwise it is gone forever.

niceglasses · 18/10/2006 20:36

I really really do give up. Its lush. You know this to be true.

NotQuiteCockney · 18/10/2006 20:37

Hmm, doesn't Zara have a big sign on the front door: "Sod off all fatties!"

Seriously, had a glance, everything seemed teeny ... pretty, but teeny ...

TheDaVinciCod · 18/10/2006 20:37

i was a little nervous youd think i was a mad stalker tbh

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:37

Greeny you lie but you have just gained about 10 squillion marks on the Frannyometer

TheDaVinciCod · 18/10/2006 20:38

"findign clothes fo my friends on t eh "peruter""
fgs mad

OP posts:
harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:38

enough with the sparkly knitwear for those with medium but perky breasts
it's a limited market

NotQuiteCockney · 18/10/2006 20:38

I'm not sure babydoll suits me. And I guess I'm thinking of a bright-coloured Pucci-esque sort of print ...

The other thing I keep wanting, is clothes in those fancy East African prints, you know the ones, really bright colours that clash, the women have a dress and a headdress that all match, but are scary? I want a blouse in that ...

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:39

nicegalsses what are you googling fgs??
"clothes that would make Kate Moss look frumpy" or summat?

GreenSepticStumps · 18/10/2006 20:39

Oh, I can't be doing with all this puff-sleeved wide-belted shenanigans, they are just trying to sneak an eighties-revival in through the back door. Yesterday I saw a woman who can't have been younger than fifty, in a black ra-ra skirt with apple green leggings underneath. I had to be resuscitated

Bollocks.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:39

Niceglasses pls tell us where to find it

I want to see it now

NotQuiteCockney · 18/10/2006 20:39
harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:39

I once got stuck in a Zara frock

very embarrassing
you could hear the ripping seams for several miles around

GreenSepticStumps · 18/10/2006 20:40

But Franny is illegally skinny and very easy on the eye

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:40

actually it might have been Mango
same diff.

NotQuiteCockney · 18/10/2006 20:40

Ah, I keep cracking up when I see people in leg warmers.

Have they brought back batwing tops? I want those to come back ... not so I can wear them, just so I can snicker ...

GreenSepticStumps · 18/10/2006 20:41

although personally I find her a bit...well....twisty

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:41

batwing tops

hilarious stuff

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:41

Greeny you are just sucking up so I won't say rude things about your jewellery habit again

NotQuiteCockney · 18/10/2006 20:41

Is Mango also v small?

Frankly, I have done minimal clothing shopping in the last 10 years (and it shows!). Have promised DH I will buy clothes I actually like when I know what size I am going to be.
