Which nail polish is best - OPI, Rimmel, Essie or Boots No7?

OP posts:

I'm an Essie gal. Love their polishes.

I find the shades in OPI are always a bit 'off' and don't like Rimmel. Have never tried No.7.

opi always chips for me.. no 7 quite good I think

Only1scoop · 19/01/2015 23:18

I like Essie

Butter London is s lovely brand. Goes on like a dream. And the Nails Inc ones I've had as freebies have been very good.

Essie for me.

No7 are good & live their colours!

love

My favourite is Sally Hansen - the shape of the brush is brilliant (once you get used to it), it's so easy to get it on your nails rather than all over your fingers Grin . It also lasts well (I use NailsInc base and top coat), at least a week for me, even with housework, gardening etc.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Barry M Gelly polish. I do use an OPI base and top coat, but find BM dries quicker and the colour is better than some more expensive brands.

rosiepinkcheeks · 20/01/2015 18:07

Essie is a favourite. Recently tried a great Sally Hansen glossy top coat. Also like Nails Inc Gel with Sally Hansen top coat. Only use OPI Nail Envy and Avople - not keen on the nail varnishes.

Barry M gelly.

Depends. Some Essie shades are terrible, some are amazing. I have two Sally Hansen shades and they are ok but the top coat I have is just awful.

I use Sally Hansen Mega Shine Top Coat. I have tried loads over the years and really like it -gives a really great high shine and is hard wearing.
