What are Jaegar sizes like? Are they cut small or generous? Looking to buy online so can't check in store.

Thanks

Small IMO. I'm usually a size 8 if the company isn't insanely vanity sizibg and have a polo neck size small. It's very snug, as in a 10 would probably have been more sensible. The bane of internet shopping!

Thank-you - I'm between an 8 - 10 so will size up

I'm going to disagree and say they are quite generous.

AnnoyingOrange · 18/01/2015 20:52

Maybe they are inconsistent. I had to size down when I bought a Jaegar dress

Saurus72 · 18/01/2015 20:52

I think they're pretty generous too.

DatsunCogs · 18/01/2015 20:54

I was going to say generous too. I'm quite short though so that may have an effect

I've just bought a gorgeous Jaeger coat in the sale. The online size predictor (think it was on the House of Fraser website) said I'd need a 10, but all the 10's had sold out in the style I wanted so I tried a 12. The 12 was perfect and I'm sure a 10 would have been on the small side. I'd say most Jaeger clothes tend to suit "straight up and down (ie not pear shaped) figures", so if you're not, you'll need to size up rather than down.

I would say generous. I bought something in xs, which was too big for me (I am a 6) whereas it fit my friend who is an 8, perfectly. Normally (unless I am shopping in the crazy world of the US) xs would be bang on the right size for me.

queenbrunhilda · 18/01/2015 22:54

Big and cut for shorter people.

Notonaschoolnight · 19/01/2015 13:10

Insanely generous when you read the size guide their 16 is an 18 etc

Generous. I am an 8 but take a 6 in Jaegar. Lovely quality mind you.
