Brogues. How do you wear them?

After about three years contemplating a purchase I've finally bought myself a pair of navy brogues. I love them and they're comfy- but I don't really know how to wear them!

Any ideas... and was navy the wrong colour?

I haven't ever worn them but my sil wore them this summer with leggings and a nice shirt type fitted dress and looked lovely! I don't think id be able to carry the same look off but maybe that look will suit you

I wear mine with thick tights and an A line skirt for work. Occassionally with chinos and argyle socks.

I wear mine with with jeans,trousers, dresses and skirts.

Where did you get the navy ones OP?

With black tights and a skater skirt?

Kahu I got them in the Zara sale online. They call them bluchers(?!) but I don't have a clue what a blucher is and they look like a brogue to me!

When I'm feeling slim I love them with very skinny jeans...gives a very long strong toe which I love.

Thick tights and a pair of short tweed shorts for work

With cigarette pants and bright Argyll socks and a button down Oxford shirt. Also for work.

I have long slim legs so can't wear them with skinny jeans as I'll look like Olive Oyl! And I don't like them with skirts.

I wear them with pretty much anything.
