Should I buy a L'oreal Steam Pod?

Are they really good? Would they be better for my hair than GHDs (which I have pretty much stopped using as they damaged my hair so much).

Interested in this too. Had steam straighteners about 10 years ago that were great, would like to know how these do.

I bought some when they first came out they do get your hair very straight and keeps it that way without going frizzy. If that is what you are after they should work I like volume so they weren't perfect for me. Also you have to use the straightening serum and fluid that is specifically designed for the system.

Forgot to say I would say they cause less damage than GHDs as they fried my dry hair.

well, I have some and whilst I think they are kinder on my hair than my GHD which fry it, they still make the ends a bit crisp. so not sure they are really worth it. I expected a dramatic difference and am a bit disappointed tbh.

Thanks!
Anyone else?

The reviews on Look Fantastic should help?

I like mine. They get my hair straighter, quicker, and it stays like that all day. My hair does look and feel healthier too.

The thing that irritates me most is that the little pod of water is very light and it's always tipping over when I'm using them!

Thanks. The thing I am most concerned about is not damaging my hair. It was ruined from GHDs so I had it cut off and it has taken over a year to grow back to a length I am happy with. So now I really want to look after it and not ruin it again. I have very fine, fragile, slow growing hair!

I did used to use the GHDs everyday, whereas now I probably only use them 1/2 times a week.
