From best to worst the contents are

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask - Delighted. Have wanted to try this brand for ages.
Detangling Leave-in Conditioner -Fine. I always like trying new hair products.
Stila Lip Glaze. The only Full size product. I hate lip gloss. Horrible sticky shiny stuff .
Shower Gel sample.
Post shave soothing gel.
A cheapy Pilates exercise band
A sample of disgusting green tea

The theme is health and renewal or some such bollocks. Does this mean next time it'll be actual beauty products and not random crap?? I opted for Birchbox because the reviews said it was mostly excellent products including high end brands like NARS etc.

Hmm indeed. Interested to read this as i had heard good things about birchbox too. Out of your selection I'd only really like the lip gloss as stila is a brand I do love, but green tea?? Just why?

Dido I love Stila eye shadows but the lip glazes positively scream 1997. They're super sticky and wet looking. Not a good look in my opinion. Very disappointing as my first high end product from Birchbox.

And green tea has zero connection to beauty. Yuck.

I had two birch boxes then stopped the subscription, I'd rather buy products I know I like or want to try then get a random selection. The packaging is great but the colours don't suit my skin tone most of the time so it wasn't worth it for me.

I had Benefit highbeam, some quite nice perfume and full size primer in the last one. You can check reviews of boxes to see what you might get but the January box doesn't souf typical.

I'll avoid the lip glazes then..they sound very sticky! Hope your next box is better!

I have had a few but I cancel my subscription after each then renew if the box looks good x

To be fair I thought this months box was particularly poor. If give it another month and see what you think. There are normally more beauty bits, last month I got a benefit eyeliner, shampoo, eyeshadow and a purse among other things.
