I used to see a lot of these floating around but haven't noticed one in ages.

I'm wearing

Dark green long sleeve blouse - Zara
Dark green tailored shorts with faint polka dot pattern - also Zara
Short (almost cropped) tartan-y blazer - a charity shop find
Black tights - New Look
Black ankle boots - Topshop

Will chuck on big dark red scarf (River Island) and suede dark red gloves (Accessorize) when I pop out again in a bit, with a green coat and a black messenger bag.

I feel a bit like a farmer's wife, but I'm quite enjoying it.

Me on the other hand....i am wearing a pair of black leggings under a bright dark pink long sleeved tee and a seasalt cord short sleeved teal print tunic dress. In fact this:

If i were to go out i would be putting on my boden dufflecoat [ last seasons] in camel and my biker boots.

I am doing a no jeans January so today it's grey colour blocked tube skirt with pink checked Ralph Lauren shirt, grey cashmere cardi, black wool tights and heeled shoe boots. Smart wool coat when I go out later

I am very boring today as I have just been pottering around the house.
Navy cords, silk, thermal vest with long sleeves, Whistles cowl neck cashmere jumper in navy.

Wide legged black, kind of speckled white ifsyim trousers

Grey jersey thing with short sleeves and cowl neck
Grey NB trainers.
There is a chill in the air, but not enough for me to need a coat or gloves etc..

Haven't got any stockings or long socks so trainers it was. At a loss what shoes to wear with the wide legged trousers too. Any ideas?

Pj bottoms and a Breton top. In my defence, I was dressed in grey skinnies but got drenched so had to get them off as soon as I got in!

I've been pottering doing paperwork around the house all day.

I bought the Topshop long tshirts in all 6 colours that they do, so for the past few weeks I have just been wearing them with a combination of thick leggings or jeans. Best buy so far!

A work day today so an a line knitted black and white skirt with a long black vest, and an orange boxy short sleeved top over that. Opaque tights and black ballet pumps.

Casual day for work.

Great post.

I was off work today so just skinny jeans and suede brown ankle boots and a pink cotton/ silk print jumper.

I need some tips for new shops. I am stuck in a rut of zara and m&s. I need to look smart for work but don't like suits and don't want to spend a fortune as I have small children.... They put snot, weetabix and sticky fingers on everything.

I am a 12 (14 post Xmas!) and quite booby, Heeelp!

I'm not very good at casual clothes, Green - maybe because I'm hourglassy, or maybe just because I'm a sucker for clothes that are dressier than my lifestyle!

These outfits sound lovely - Remus, I'm particularly interested in your 'fine silk jumper'. Sounds gorgeous, not boring in the slightest!

:) It's v old, but has been very useful. It's from the days when Hobbs wasn't all polyester.
