Boots in sale - nice or frumpy?

I know lots of people here really hate Clarks but I have dodgy feet and they seem to cause me less pain than other makes. What do you think of these boots? Would prob wear with dresses and skirts.

They're not for me. But that's the point isn't it: they're not for me. So if you like them and they fit and they make you feel good (and stop your feet hurting) then buy them.

I saw these in the shop & didn't think much of them. Then the other day caught up with a friend who was wearing them with skinny jeans & they did look great on!

Oh, and they're a really good price and will go with a lot!

In what way, round the ankle? I did wonder about that.

I have these in grey and have worn with skirts and dresses. Bought a half size smaller but not wearing with chunky socks as I have other boots for that. Think, or hope, they look better when wearing them. I like the zip detail although do keep trying to zip the half zips up!

I like those. Hve some similar style.

Heels that are too high are a waste of money for me- as I like ot be able to walk.

I like them and they are a good price, I would probably get them anyway to try as Clarks are quite good, free delivery and returns and easy to take back to store if you want to.

I think they're nice. I have some similar looking boots which are very comfortable. Great price for leather too!

The grey colour looks quite nice too.

They are a completely inoffensive pair of useful boots. They will almost certainly be comfortable and they are a bargain. Sounds good to me!

I have them in black and grey. perfectly fine boots in my opinion. Nothing outstanding about them but very useful and practical. Not too high, quite comfortable to walk in all day (went Christmas shopping to westfields in mine)

look fine with work wear (dress, opaque tights and boots) my friend wears hers with skinny jeans or slim fitted black trousers, I think the style would be cigarette pants? quite smart black trousers in a slim but not tight fit, just about on the ankle/above the ankle? anyway would look shit on me but look fab on her!

I ordered those and they are lovely, but nicer in grey. They are a bit too high for me so are going back.

I bought these last year. They are extremely comfortable and I have been wearing them daily this winter. Comes also in brown.

I've got them and actually they aren't that comfortable - but they are maybe just a bit big. Look nice with skirts but I've found they don't look so good with skinny jeans as some.

I think they are a complete bargain! I considered them..but ended up buying a different pair that noone on here likes but i dont give a toss I think they are lovely and more expensive looking in grey.

Go for it. Simple and they look comfortable.

I just ordered in both colours as I have a similar hugely comfortable (though slightly nicer) Clarks pair in black which are on their last legs... Worth a punt.

Just not 100% sure about the wooden heel...

I really like wooden heels.
