Once they have left school probably. That said our school don't allow it. Others may allow it. It lasts 2 weeks so if school age may be in the holidays only.

Why has age got anything to do with nail polish????

DurhamDurham · 06/01/2015 18:43

My two girls started wearing it once in sixth form, if they had worn it in the. Main part of school they would have been handed some nail polish remover which wouldn't gave worked......they then would have been sent home to remove it. Not worth the hassle until you have permission to wear it.

Because Boule, Gel polish lasts 2/3 weeks and if the person is of school age, it may not be appropriate to have it on at school.

Sixth form, if they pay for it themselves Grin

Was thinking more of the damage to the nails really. Using pure acetone etc

My DD has hers done for special occasions from 16, she is now 18 and had them for the whole of December. I would advised against long term though as it does damage your nails. She won't bother again until her leavers celebrations in the summer as it's also a lot of money. for a student.
