Boden's new collection- terrible dresses?

Have looked and am despairing. Never bought many of their dresses - have a couple of very plain ones- but the recent offerings are dire.
Combination of too high necklines, ponte fabric, and nothing remotely attractive about any.

Or is it just me?

I can only do plain Boden stuff now.
Never patterned.
Maybe summer collection will have better dresses.
My favourite dress from last year was plain navy sleeveless jersey with v neck .
Think it was called Tarifa?
Would like a grey or taupe one this year.

My fave from last summer was the Erin dress which was sleeveless with a low cut round neck and a lovely flared skirt in navy and white stripes. Was hoping for that again but in plain colours but no such luck!

I've just bought two summer dresses in the sale from Dickins and Jones at house of Fraser, much nicer. One a flattering jersey dress with 3/4 sleeves in an aqua stripe the other a pretty print that doesn't cling. £62 for both.

Hideous and hideously expensive too. I love this one though.

I'd expect it to be silk for that price though, and how stupid that it's dry clean only.

Everything about that dress is awful, bakeoff. It looks like a greengrocer's tabard in both pattern and shape. Terrible.

I just clicked the little video thing for it. The cut of the dress gives the even the model a 'pooch' so heaven knows what those horrible pleat things at the front of the waist would do for anyone with anything other than a model's bod. Heinous

The 'mini's' are never mini enough. I'm not looking for a pelmet, but fgs Boden, 'just above the knee' doesn't qualify as mini.

I thought that one was the worst midget. Looks bad on a tall, stick thin gorgeous model. I dread to think what that dress would look like on me yuk. And the colour is v off too.

That skirt and matching shoes is a piss take surely?

I am not averse to a colourful print but the waistlines are always too high. I put the catalogue straight in the recycling yesterday.

I hate ponte fabric, it's just horrible. What happened to all their decent quality stuff? The children's tops are so thin now
