Hiya,
My hair has been highlighted twice but I'd like to go dark all over again. Is it ok just to whack some home dye on? X

Yes. Make sure it has a gold base. Anything ash could go greeny. So a 5.3 or something would be fine. It might fade out a bit but you can always refresh it in a couple of months.
