Depends. They are basically magnesium, so if you have an epsom salts bath, the magnesium gets absorbed through your skin.So if you have magnesium defiency (poor sleep, muscle cramps), it could be helpful. If you drink a lot of tea/coffee/cola, more than a bottle of wine a week, eat a lot of sugar that deletes magnesium. If you take a calcium supplement, it's good to also supplement magnesium as calcium can interfere with magnesium absorption. If you have anxiety or difficulty getting to sleep/staying asleep at night then an epsom salts bath before bed could help.
