please help me.
I am 45, 5ft 6,and a frumpy size 18 - big tummy and upper body.
I need to look nice for a sudden wedding - in 2 weeks time!!!!!
I have Aspergers, and normally wear jeans and a jumper all the time. Usually in black or navy.

I hate shopping because it depresses me as nothing looks nice on me. I tried a personal shopper once, but it was an awful experience.

Where do I start? Any suggestions?

How about a smart pair of navy trousers with a dressy top? Or do you want to wear a dress?

I have that dress in a different colour from about 5 years ago. I have worn it to so many parties/weddings etc. It is a very flattering comfortable dress.

Actually, I also have a funeral to go to around the same time which it would be good for.

I think it is ok to wear black to a wedding and have done so, especially in the winter.

Yes to black at a wedding. You could try it with a faux fur cropped jacket and some wonderful shoes, maybe?
