I'm not a big wearer of foundation but would like to find a reasonably decent tinted moisturiser for a bit of cover up. Can anyone recommend one please?

Laura Mercier is fab. Recommended by me and Sali Hughes

Mumraathenoisylion · 28/12/2014 13:00

Nars is my favourite!

MrsSkinnyLegs · 28/12/2014 20:04

Second Laura Mercier, completely amazing.

chasingtail · 28/12/2014 20:59

Ooh thank you. Was clearly under some illusion that tinted moisturiser was cheaper than foundation Grin

No, you can find good cheap foundations, but TM is always expensive.
Chantecaille is ridiculously expensive.

Third Laura Mercier

I love LAura Mercier's Oil Free one but the colour range is v narrow. The Nars shade range is wider, I think. I quite like the Bobbi Brown one too but my fave is LM, if you can find a colour match.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 28/12/2014 22:02

Sorry, the Bobbi one I like is the BB. Tiny tube though.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 28/12/2014 22:03

Although IMO, BB creams are the same thing as TM.

OttiliaVonBCup · 28/12/2014 22:04

BB creams are all orange.
TM not.

AlpacaYourThings · 28/12/2014 22:07

I bought the Laura Mercier one based on MN recommendations. I absolutely hated it. I got the most horrendous rash of spots on my cheeks, stopped using it and it all cleared up. Never again!

GlitteryLipgloss · 28/12/2014 22:12

I use a Nivea one as I have very dry skin and psorasis on my scalp and ears and eyebrows (nice eh lol) Blush I would love to try more expensive brands one day.

Also Nivea daily express hydration primer is really good.

MilkThistle187 · 28/12/2014 22:16

The Autograph one is very good, I have up LM when I found it

ColouringInQueen · 28/12/2014 22:18

I have a good old No 7 Tinted Moisturiser and I'm really pleased with it - will def get another.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/12/2014 10:05

Ottillia, the Bobbi Brown BB in light isn't orange at all.

BrandyAlexander · 29/12/2014 10:14

The Nars ones are great.

Eliza22 · 29/12/2014 10:20

I have Bobbi Brown BB in Fair. Not orange. Just lovely.

Petal02 · 29/12/2014 13:38

Another vote for Boots No 7 tinted moisturiser.

southeastastra · 29/12/2014 13:50

i like the nars and the no 7 ones

Blanketontheground · 29/12/2014 13:56

Try the Clarins one before you make your mind up. They do free samples. I think it's a little bit heavier than most TM but that suits me as my skin isn't great.

Zhx3 · 29/12/2014 13:59

I do like the Origins Vitazing, but it's expensive so I'm currently using Olay Total Effects CC cream, which I like a lot (SPF 15). I found the No. 7 one a little thick for me.

ZolaBuddleia · 29/12/2014 14:09

Nars is fab, lots of shades and SPF 30. Get a nice lady in SpaceNK to match it for you.

Lndnmummy · 29/12/2014 14:10

Clarins BB cream is lovely!
