Anyone else receiving incorrect items from ASOS?

I've been shopping with them for 6/7 years and this has only happened once before. All of a sudden they have managed to send the wrong products in two orders in a row. These are quite expensive orders (£80-£100), so I'm a bit I'm miffed to say the least.

Anyone else having problems with them, or am I just unlucky. It really is putting me off using their site.

Ive emailed them today about my refunds. I'm going to be very annoyed of they don't show up soon ??

yes I agree over ordering is often a way to avoid delivery charges - but this is pennies.

It DOES make me buy more stuff there than at individual shops.

Hi, just wondered if anyone was still having asos problems?

I returned an order before xmas, was received by them on the 24th but haven't heard anything from them about it yet. Placed another order Xmas eve, bumped it to £100+ for next day delivery, but only one item received so far and order is still showing as processing? Customer service people are doing their best but clearly overwhelmed and it's taking ages to get not very helpful info. I'm worrying slightly because this is unusual - they're normally so on it!

I had an email this morning to say my other parcel was coming today. I wonder if the refunds are slow because they have cottoned on to the fact that people are overodering to get next day delivery?
Can't say I blame them.

maybemyrtle · 31/12/2014 12:29

I've not received any emails except the order confirmed one on the 24th. Did you get one to say your first parcel had been sent? Have to say that I bumped a £98 order with a £5 pair of earrings and they're all that has turned up so far...

insancerre · 31/12/2014 12:33

yes, I got an email in the morning to say Garry was delivering it between 11.26 and 12.36 and I could track it. he arrived at 12.26
That order was next day delivery but the second order was only £60 so it's standard.
I got an email saying it's coming today but I can't track it like the first one. I think it's a different delivery company.

maybemyrtle · 31/12/2014 12:38

That sounds more like it. They haven't emailed me at all, the earrings just turned up this morning. Patience is a virtue...!

I have fallen completely out of love with ASOS, and haven't renewed my Premier membership because of problems with them.

My last order a few weeks ago was a total nightmare. Placed an order on a Monday, renewed my Premier membership at the same time. Order should have arrived Tuesday. 10 days later there was still no sign of it and there's just no way of getting an answer out of customer services. You email via the website and you get a standard response 48 hours later which doesn't address your question. Same for FB and Twitter, although messages aren't responded to for about a week.

Facebook and Twitter are FULL of complaints at the moment and it seems they are ignoring everyone. I filed a PayPal charge back for a refund on the whole order, including premier membership. Their whole attitude stinks - not an apology, acknowledgement - nothing.

That's it for me and Asos now. It's not the first time it's happened, it was averaging every 4th or 5th order I reckon. Customer service is terrible and not being able to speak to someone is frustrating beyond belief.

I got sick of them too, I used to order a lot from them, but there were too many mistakes and no real service. They sent me a left boot without the right and trying to get it sorted was a nightmare, eventually they did though but the note I got from them didn't apologise just offered 10% off my next purchase with a code that was only valid for two weeks...I didn't need anything in that two weeks but would have been reluctant to use them again anyway, prior to that I ordered a bikini set...it was a set including both halves, they sent me the top only and then couldn't locate the bottom of it, offered me 10% off the top...pretty useless so I sent it back and just got a refund, no apology.
They have a good range of brands, but the service is dismal, I would not order from them again.

McSqueezy · 31/12/2014 14:03

They have an unbelievable amount of complaints on Twitter and all over their Facebook page. Mainly over missing refunds and deliveries. Hoping it all calms down soon, and they go back to their usual good service.

I placed an order Friday, it's been despatched today, so 5 days but some things are now out of stock so I won't get them- bit annoying.
