what footwear???

I love this dress but a bit stuck on what to wear on my feet. I'm thinking a mid heal ankle boot for casual wear (although open to ideas) but what sort of footwear would you recommend for a dressier occasion. And what colour?

Normally I would get inspiration from the model but I can't find any pictures of the dress that show the feet!

Nice dress. - I would wear black ankle boots with a heel and opaque tights.

Opaques / heeled ankle boots / heeled shoeboots. Black.

Thanks ladies. Looks like I need to go shopping . I only have flat black ankle boots or these which are a bit "cowboy" I think.
