New winter coat advice

I need a new winter coat after putting on weight ( due to medication). Can someone advise me on an inexpensive, but warm winter coat. I do a lot of walking, so warmth us essential, but I want it to be stylish, as well as practical. I'm a typical pear-shaped. Thanks.
