Opinions please....

I'm planning to wear this dress to a function tomorrow. I don't want to be cold but I don't have a black cardigan that goes. I do however have a navy blue cardigan that goes......so my question is....

I can't wear black tights with a navy cardigan, I do own some navy tights and shoes so should I go with that or is it too matchey matchey? I was going to dress it up with some gold accessories.

What do you think?

I think black and navy look chic together. I would still wear black tights and keep the navy shoes.

The problem is the dress is nice but....its a summery type dress and thats why anything but bare legs is difficult to pull off.

OK thanks, I brought some thicker nude tights so going with those with blue cardi and shoes. I think I'll take either a beige and tan bag or a little gold clutch depending on how much I need to carry

Good call - was going to say nude tights plus navy cardi and shoes.

I'd go for navy tights with the navy cardy, and then nude shoes.

Thick nude tights can look ...a bit mannequin esque.
