Casual Dress/Tunic?! Help!!

So I'm a walking fashion disaster, which is no joke really. My sense of style has been widely mocked/made into a running joke by all and sundry (seriously, even the local lolly pop man has a laugh with me about it!). Normally I consist of odd socks, jeans with holes in the knees that are 5 years old and some "mum" type jumpers/old tshirts/paint splattered stuff. I've not bought myself any new clothes in frick knows how long.

But I need a casual dress/tunic type thing that I could maybe wear with black tights or a nice pair of skinny jeans for new years eve. For a start it's my dd's birthday then and we'll be spending it with my ex (dc father) and his family, I want to look good for a change and I kinda sorta want to impress him too. Things have been going really well between us lately and a bit like the old days. Plus I want to remember and look like I'm 22 for a change!!

Needs to be at a reasonable price, I'm a bit strapped for cash. Any links or suggestions? I'm a size 10/12 and about 5'7" if that helps, a bit of a stomach from having two kids and the sort of skin tone that goes well with turquoise/green/red/blue etc (kind of olivey or tanned even in winter).

Thanks Xmas Grin

I've bet you've got a great figure - show it off! Have a look at dorothy perkins - wide range and reasonable priced.

How about jade dress
