Machine washable slouchy wool jumper?

Is this the holy grail?
Unfortunately with a grubby toddler my days of lovingly handwashing knitwear are long gone but I still love the feel of soft merino type wool and don't want to be in acrylic, viscose or polyester!
I like this a lot here but the handwash is the problem.
Budget wise - want to keep it to £75ish or below and hopefully might find something that turns up in the sales after Christmas for more like £50.
Thanks in advance...

try this. Yes, I know it's a men's jumper, but it's pure lambswool, machine washable. I'm 5ft2 and size 8-10 and honestly it looks fine on. I got the size small.

Thanks bonzo - thats a great price and that colour has a long version. Does it sit quite low past the bum? I want to wear with leggings but the world does not need to see my bottom!

I buy merino jumpers and bung them on a short hand wash cycle in my machine with some Woolite, they're fine.

I don't hand wash anything, it all goes in the machine. Work dresses, anything knitted or delicate. Just make sure it's on the lowest possible spin setting.

Have a look at the Cashmere/Merino ones from Woolovers - machine washable and much cheaper.

It's probably just to the bottom of my bum cheeks, not mid thigh though. As I said I'm pretty short though. You could size up. I wear mine loads, really cosy but not bulky. So much nicer than the women's ones in m&s
