Looking for a lipstick that is long-wearing. Does it exist? Any good ones in Boots or Superdrug? I'm on a budget. Thx.

Barry M
www.barrym.com/lip-paint-black-cherry-1.html About a fiver in Superdrug, I have the Black Cherry and it stays allllll day. Bit drying though.

These are great. I have not an illusion that's a sort of nude and the bright red. The red especially lasts forever.

Lip Finity by Max Factor. The Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks aren't too bad either.

Lottapianos · 12/12/2014 15:09

Currently having pretty decent wear out of Sleek sheer lipstick in Cherry, costs 4.99. Good depth of colour and wears off evenly, so you don't get that awful ring around the edge of your lips

I second that the Kate Moss lipsticks are good.

Dunno if they're still available though

Thank you so much for your suggestions.

I got bought the kate moss red one (shade 01) as a secret santa present this week. It is really very good indeed.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 12/12/2014 21:32

The Bourjois rouge edition velvets are good too. Li,e a liquid lipstick /stain thing. Really long wearing without giving shrivelled lips.

atoughyear · 12/12/2014 21:35

Best I've tried are Revlon Colourbust matte lipsticks.

Ladyflip · 12/12/2014 21:38

Agree with Lipfinity, only one I've found that stays on all day.

WestEast · 12/12/2014 21:39

Beat one I've got I bought on a whim whilst in a queue :) was a matte red one from H&M, cost about £4.

zipzap · 12/12/2014 22:02

The Mua ones like a crayon are really good - there's a nice bright orangey colour (actually there are two bright orangey colours, one isn't so good, one is great), and a pinky colour, both of which seem to stain your lips all day and they smell nice and minty.

About £3 each in Superdrug but I think they have an offer on at the moment, not sure what though!

CatCushion · 12/12/2014 22:05

I'm just trying out a lipfinity. It's great so far. Also like the foundation.

Now I just need some eye make up that doesn't make me cry or look 30 years older. :(

CecyHall · 12/12/2014 22:05

Maybelline 14 hour wear (I think- the shorter amount of hours they do, the longer one isn't as good).

Dancingyogi · 13/12/2014 07:03

Maybelline long lasting - the double wand with the colour on one end and the shine bit on the other.......and Lipfinity - Maybelline is easier to apply and is my preference but the buggers keep updating the shades, so I end up buying Lipfinity instead, both have amazing staying power and are comfortable to wear.

cardoon · 13/12/2014 09:56

I say Maybelline 14hr too........nice and matte
