Freshly highlighted swishy hair - I read that you should dress the part when you go to the hairdresser so that they don't give you the wrong image for your style. Hence a bit overdressed for my Xmas shopping trip in town really but felt good.

Thank you for nice comments. The leggings are a couple of years old and the jumper is a DVF one. Was almost too hot at work.

Today calf length black ribbed oasis skirt (sort of tube), uniqlo heattech spotty socks, uniqlo heattech black leggings, striped black and ecru H&M knickers, uniqlo heattech nude long sleeved tshirt, light beige with black cats and white stripes primark jumper. Teal/navy old John Lewis scarf. Brown kew padded coat. Beige with gold hearts mittens, gloves Accessorize. Tiffany fine mesh silver ring. Gold star on silver band ring (huttons gift shop). Amber stones and circles mesh earrings concession at house of Fraser think chinese but fab they do lots of naice bling!

Me & Em maxi dress in navy, black Celtics, those nice thick Spanx leggings for warmth and a capacious cashmere cherry red poncho jersey off yer Ralph Lauren via TK Maxx. Massive black nerd spectacles. Aquascutum mac.

By way of accessorising, plenty of tabby fur.

My hair in the wind went Ken Dodd, giving a slightly homeless chic effect.
