Faux fur coat??

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced faux fur coat?? I would ideally like something with long sleeves, with or without a collar, uniform fur all over (i.e. no fabric embellishments etc - all fur) and maybe hip or bum length (nothing cropped). I can't go shopping to see one in real life so just wondered if anybody has seen one that feels nice and is heavy and warmish... TIA Smile

I really wanted that Warehouse one but the length was all wrong. It was mid-thigh and made my legs look like tree trunks.

@SofaCanary - what is the MN scarf?

So, the TKMaxx coat arrived. I tried it on and... I looked like the Honey Monster Sad. DH nearly died laughing at me and proceeded to call me 'Pat' in a Frank Butcher voice for much of the evening.

Here's hoping for better results from the M&Co version.

Grin

I'm picturing a Honey Monster/Pat Butcher hybrid!

I like this one which also has a contrast collar. Nowhere to wear it though!

I think Topshop also have that Unreal Fur one - it's lovely. Sadly, I'm starting to think that fun fur is best suited to the very young and very thin. I am neither. Sad

Oh no! Grin at honey monster-pat!

It is a risky sort of item of clothing, the fake fur coat....

I am 43 & I think I totally rock the faux fur trend Wink. Keep looking - there will be the right one for you.

IMO the contrasting collar ones are very "young".

Have a look at Does My Bum Look 40 blog - she did a great post on faux fur recently.

that asos one with the peach collar might suit an eight year old!

I think I might get my Richards one out and wear it a bit more! ....that tells you how old I am. (I did buy it in their closing down sale though)

...one of the best bargains of my life!! £17.50 ...half, half, half half price!! it'd originally been £140 ...a criminal amount for a novelty coat 18 years ago :o

Well the Mand Co one arrived - and I love it! Grin. The colour is much better for me, and it's less, um, hairy (for want of a better word). I wore it last night and DH even approved plus my friend's DH said it was nice too - an unprompted compliment from a man is high praise indeed for any clothing item!!!
