Useful blouse or dreadful tat?

I quite like this for my SIL with some skinny pleathers for Christmas.
She can bung it on with a suit afterward if she fancies etc

Is it small bit of com in mouth or useful?

Please...

It would be more versatile without the black trim thing.

RonaldMcDonald · 02/12/2014 16:48

I can't decide. My fashion brain has shut down

Not dreadful but it wouldn't get my Xmas knickers in a twist either.

If you're sure it's her style though.....?

Ujjayi · 02/12/2014 17:11

I like the pleated/folded neckline. Does she definitely suit cream? It isn't as neutral as people think. It can be very draining on the wrong skin tone.

Greengardenpixie · 02/12/2014 18:31

I like it. I think its quirky. It would look great on the right shape..... but its very hard to buy for someone else. I second the notion, do you really know her style and what she likes?

RonaldMcDonald · 02/12/2014 18:31

I like the neck line
I think it will be good in different ways..versatile I mean
She wears tons of cream but that is a very good point
It looks more yellow in the link than in real life and is edged in pleather but looks fairly expensive from a glance

A small bit of what?

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 02/12/2014 19:12

I think it could look cheap in the flesh. It's polyester, which can be fine but can be awful - the seams down the front and back will have to be finished very well for it not to look cheap I think.

Nice shape and neckline though.

RonaldMcDonald · 02/12/2014 19:30

vom...sorry auto corrected

Won't work if she's generous of nork.

RonaldMcDonald · 02/12/2014 19:39

not norky at all
she is into big blouses...this isn't really my thing
maybe a voucher is a better shout

I think it's lovely and if my norgs weren't massive I'd definitely be pleased to get this as a present

Floisme · 02/12/2014 19:50

I'm still struggling to get past 'com in mouth' - sorry Grin

I don't know about your sister in law but I think it would look shite on me:
That trim makes the neckline quite high.
I don't suit cream.
I'm short and it would probably end right at the fattest point of my thighs.

But apart from that it's lovely! Don't know if that helps?

SofaCanary · 02/12/2014 20:09

Can't believe I missed 'com in mouth'! Grin

Spidergirl8 · 02/12/2014 20:16

100% polyester- me thinks no!

Gem124 · 02/12/2014 20:22

I think it's classy and one of those tops you'd get a lot of wear out of xx

Saurus72 · 02/12/2014 20:51

I would like it if it were silk, but polyester is a big no for me.

coffeenut · 03/12/2014 09:24

I have a number of blouses from warehouse which I love & I really like this. I would get it (as long as the cream fabric doesn't look cheap irl)

CointreauVersial · 03/12/2014 22:07

Like it.

beeny · 03/12/2014 22:20

Would be nice if silk
