funeral cover clothes?

hi, i am a muslim, and my father in law past away today, as he is christian i have to go to the church for his funeral, i really don't know what to wear, i am looking for nice knee length or just a bit shorter dress with the same color trousers that will much.

M&S has quite a few dresses like that around the £30 mark. Their website is really complicated to link to for some reason but if you search for 'black skater dress' on www.marksandspencer.com you should find them. They do lots of black trousers to match too.

In my experience people wear all sorts of things to funerals these days - not just black but also other dark colours like navy and grey are fine. The outfit you suggest sounds fine.

Any dark plain colour is fine -dark grey , navy, dark brown etc

High heels fine as long as you don't wear them with a short skirt, as clothing should be modest and not show a lot of flesh

Not that you are likely to be doing that as a Muslim lady I think
