Straighteners for occasional use

I don't want to spend loads as I only use them once in a blue moon. My last pair lasted ten years! Any recommendations? Hair is long but not particularly thick, and quite naturally straight anyway.

I seem to remember Remington pearls as having good reviews but it was a long time ago researched and then ended up not buying any so I might have that wrong!

Thanks ladies. My last pair were also Remington so I know they last well. Looks like Argos has a sale on too Smile

Remington here too. I'm on my second one. No complaints.

There's some Remington ones in Aldi atm for 15 quid, quite tempted myself actually.

I've just bought the Remington ones from Aldi, they are also in Argos if you aren't near one but they are 19 instead of 14.

Just had a quick go and they are amazing! Heat up in seconds and as good as my friend 's GHD 's I have used in the past. The reviews on the Argos website are excellent too, they are the colour protect ones.
