What the heck would you wear on your legs for a winter night out?

I can't abide skin coloured tights but no way can I bare my legs.

nude and glossy. buy decent ones and they won't bag any more than any other tights. Be very careful with the colour match.

It's not the baggyness. It's the shine - they're just too Kate Middleton for me and make even someone as young and pretty as her look middles aged.

Disagree, they look glamorous as long as you get decent ones. No more than 7 denier and a perfect colour match.

I wear nude micro fishnets from Primark with leopard print shoes.

I'd rather wear nude tights than bare my legs in fake tan or not and freeze my butt off.

cocolepew yes my ex colleague used to get nude fishnets at primark I'll look for the micro ones.

Bare legs in November = 100% chav.

Do these 7 denier tights really keep legs warm? Also, if you are short and stout of leg with veins and so on, will they cover them up enough to make them look pretty?

Not chav (nice ) just got cracking legs with no blemishes so can get away sans tights.

OP, the red dress is lovely and I think it would look cool with leopard print shoes. As for legs, hmmmmm, fwiw I have worn nude micro fishnets before and thought they were a nice comprise between Kate Middleton style nude tights and my bare ass corn beef legs

Just buy some Sally Hansen leg make up in an aerosol. Job done.

I have learned a lot about tights. There seem to be as many opinions as there are legs. However, OP are you any closer to working out what to wear? Maybe jeans and a nice top?
