Shooting attire and pre shoot dinner

Wondered if anyone on this board has any suggestions for a women's shooting jacket and boots? I had some dubarry boots last year but after one outing the stitching came loose and I returned for a refund. Looking for a jacket which is water, wind proof, warm, pockets etc. also I am attending a dinner the night before, I know what men wear but no idea if there is particular etiquette for women. Any help welcome, thanks, don't have a complete fortune to spend but want decent high quality kit.

I have ariat grasmere boots. Use them for around the stables etc, now maybe 4 or 5 years old and still look good
Try here maybe for tweed? www.outofthecity.co.uk

Musto do shooting gear.

Try a Schoffel Ptarmigan tweed coat and Le Chameau wellies. Most experienced Guns wear these brands precisely because the kit is comfortable, refined and tough. Aigle also make good boots.

There is no particular etiquette at a dinner prior to a shoot. Smart, but certainly not black tie/LBD.

Are you shooting yourself or just watching?

Shooting myself. Have borrowed DH jacket before on real shoot, it is huge. mostly wear casual stuff on clay days. But have never done a more formal dinner the night before. Borrowing DH ear defenders, no style issues there!
