Just that really, what do you use to tightline? Have used a gel pencil from trish mcevoy but it doesnt stay put enough. I dont mind paying a paying a premium if it works though.

What do you use? And what brushes if you dont use a pen form. Please share x

It's still exactly where I put it and hasn't smudged at all, it was only 6.99 , it's REALLY black, makes the base of the lashes look really dense. I would suggest trying it before anything more pricey as it works really well on my eyes.

I've recently discovered this! I usually use liquid liner and do a cat eye flick but sometimes it feels too much for daytime wear, but I feel bare with just mascara on. Watched a video on how to tightline and it looks great. Will check out your eyeliner recommendation Dame.

Does anyone use a nude colour to do their bottom lash line? The lass on the video I watched did this too and it looked really good but I wouldn't really know where to get one.

I used a nude one last year- it looked very odd on me. Rimmel do one.

Ace, thanks for the link. I'll look for the rimmel one too to try. Won't be expensive so I won't be too annoyed if it looks weird on me.

I don't know how it would last on top of the lashes as I haven't tried it yet but tightlining is fantastic. I have the waterproof version which is probably why it's staying put so well. I'm slightly worried as to how I'm going to remove it tonight actually...

I have watched videos on how to tight line... I don't think I can bring myself to do it! I mean, I get slightly queasy at the thought.

Years ago, one of the "tough" girls in HS used to take liquid eyeliner and paint it straight onto the whites of her eyes! She would then close her eyes tightly. blink a few times, and it would go to the rims of her lids. I still get queasy thinking of her doing that.

Weirdly the L'oreal liner didn't look as good today, and didn't last as long. I'm going to try my Bobbi brown liner tomorrow and compare.

Right, just HAVE to share this. Today I made an amazing discovery for a tightline product - mascara!
Basically I used my tightline brush (mac 212) and gathered some mascara from my mascara product, then proceeded to tightline as normal. Its perfect!! Why did I not think of this before? Its amazing.

Just thought id sharw

Another fan of laura mercier navy cake one, plus use a teeny tiny brush from E.L.F. so that wasn't too much more expense. I've only ever tried that one though, going to try my L'oreal one tomorrow!

On a slight swerve ladies, do you mind telling me how long your usual eyeliner lasts? I've got a BB long lasting eyeliner and I'm lucky if it lasts three hours, even with a primer and set by powder. tightlining lasts about the same time...

Have I got spectacularly oily eyelids or am I doing somethingwrong?
