Not for rambling, more for school run/to work/in and out of the car etc, to wear with work clothes, reasonably priced, flat and maybe even slip on. I currently wear trainers and I look like some crazy 90s career woman from New York (well, sort of!) Any ideas gratefully received! TIA Smile

Not slip on but Clarks brouges, hamble oak, are fabulous.

When you say "walking shoes", What sort of thing are you actually after? Trainer type things? Leather boots ?

FruitBasedDrinkForALady · 23/11/2014 20:40

I've been looking for something simliar Muchovino. I came across the Clarks brogues mentioned above, but they are very different too stylish for me, so I'm not sure! I have these in black winging their way to me. I know they are boots rather than shoes, but I'm hopeful they'll do me.

I've got some from new balance in brown. I wear them for everyday and to walk the dog I'm into my 2nd winter and they'll probably last another one (or two) I'll check out the link for you

Hi I just went onto their site and under womens, walking there's 3, mine are either the 959 or the 1069

TheHappinessTrap · 23/11/2014 23:07

Ooh (apologies for the hijack) blibblibs, I'm getting those, are they really comfortable?

FairyPenguin · 23/11/2014 23:10

I have some Ecco boots for walking to work. V comfortable and supportive but not stylish, I'm afraid. They are brown as I wanted to deliberately show that I wasn't trying to make them go with my work clothes!

handcream · 23/11/2014 23:11

Try Ecco they have some dedicated stores around the UK. My slip ons ate like slippers!

muchovino · 24/11/2014 20:16

Thank you all, some great ideas here - looking for something non-trainer but boots would work, Ecco is calling! Smile
