Sainsburys/TU recommendations?

As we are saving/cutting back, I haven't bought new clothes in ages. I'm going to take advantage of the double points at sainsburys and treat myself... So what's good/what's not in the clothes section? (I'm not after anything in particular, I need everything/anything!!)

I bought a nice short red needlepoint cord skirt last week

Best thing to do is just go and have a browse Smile. From memory they sometimes have some nice jumpers, and the skinny jeans are ok too.

They're leggings if you wear them. Not the cheap ones, they're about £10/12 a pair.

I got some Gok Wan jeggings which have been great. Worn them lots.
I find jersey dresses seem to wear very quickly.
Shirts and knitwear generally ok.
I did see a rather nice wool-looking coat the other night but didn't investigate as I'm pregnant so it's not going to fit. Think it was purple with a small collar.

Thanks Smile

Will probably have to take the dc so want to have an idea before I go because browsing with these two might not be as much fun as it sounds!

A really nice parka from there in navy. It's lovely. Nice and warm but not too bulky. Think I paid £35.

I quite like sainsburys I have a few things from there. However some of the basics can be quite expensive. Plain scoop neck long sleeve tops and the same in stripes are £9. I'm sure they are less in m&s.

I would look out for one of their 25% TU sales - think they're due for one in early December.

I went in this morning OP for exactly the same reason. Make sure you send your vouchers by the 25th Nov. I got grey work trousers, blue pattered work blouse (sale item, woo) socks for me and pants for DS. Oh and a plain tshirt. All was covered in the £40 voucher so quite happy. If you don't see anything you like, spend it on underwear or baby/kids clothes you could give as gifts at Christmas or birthdays later in the year.

I picked up some of the Gok jeggings and a nude blouse. Hoping to wear them for the works Christmas meal with shoes and jewellery I already have. Quiet pleased with that for free! I'll nip back when they have the 25% off and use the rest of the points on some other things I spied Smile

Beware if you have doubled up points to get vouchers they are only valid untill Tues. If you don't spend them by then, you'll have lost all your nectar points IYSWIM. Glad you found a few bits. I wanted the jeggings but they didn't have my size!
