My brother is getting married at Christmas (3rd marriage), wedding is registry office followed by fairly low key reception at a local social club (day only), attended by around 30 people.
I have been looking for a dress, long sleeved , fairly plain but not seen anything I love. I suit fitted with a flared or a line skirt, sometimes a wrap dress. Phase eight usually flattering but not seen anything I love. I'm size 14, 5ft 8.

Do you think I could dress up with a statement necklace - seen a nice one in monsoon and burgundy patent shoes or just too boring.
Any other suggestions please!! I like plum, red, burgundy, green and don't really suit patterns.
