Knee-high boots...

Hi all,

I was just hoping for a little bit of advice please...

I am only just venturing into the world of Knee-high boots. I ordered a pair to try on. They fit great around the foot and great around the calf but are quite loose around the ankle and seem to bunch a little. Is that normal or are they a bad fit/badly made?

I tried on about 10 pairs of knee high boots last week and they were all huge around the ankle. I didn't think it looked nice so I didn't buy any.

I've had a big headache with boots too with the same issue as you.... Still haven't found any I like yet!

I think the only way to have a good fitting boot is it by it having laces or it being a stretch type boot... So it fits snugly...

I hate boots bulking around my ankle!

Thank you for the feedback ladies. After googling gosh knows how many images of boots, a little bunching seems semi-normal! However, I am still not 100% convinced but I love the boots...

I don't like bunching at the ankle, but this happens if you have narrow ankles especially if disproportionate to the calf. Slouch styles tend to solve this as they are meant to look baggier. Aldo has a style called Althea that could be worth a look.

You have to try on lots of pairs to find a pair that suits the shape and size of your legs. Keep looking.
