I just got the last pair of Ash trainers in my size Smile. Nice not to be too late to the party for a change!

They're going bust so I imagine the reductions will get better and better!

They screwed some of their stockists for next season over too by ordering and then cancelling leaving them out of pocket. I hope it's resolved properly.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/11/2014 12:17

They've been in trouble for a long time. I've got loyalty vouchers but just wouldn't risk ordering anything from them at the moment.

mycatlikestwiglets · 19/11/2014 12:41

I'm disappointed. There's a lot of old summer stuff in the supposed "new season" stock selling for higher prices than in the summer clearance!

SofaCanary · 19/11/2014 14:17

Interesting, I did wonder if all the recent discounts spelled trouble.

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 19/11/2014 14:49

Ooh. Do you think it's risky to order MrsCB? I have my eye on something... can they go bust, not fulfil orders and keep the cash? Would ordering on credit card be protective?

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/11/2014 14:51

I would definitely order on a credit card if I was going to order.

They have been taking longer to do refunds recently I noticed. Just personally wouldn't order anything of a high value or that I was very unsure about.

Their 'new in' section vanished a few weeks back which I thought was a bit odd. But hey, they may get new investors I guess.

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 19/11/2014 14:55

Googling threw this article up.

Hmm I'll think on it and if it sells out I'll be saved from myself.

AmberNectarine · 19/11/2014 15:21

They've already been in trouble and had new investors once. I went to a sample sale a few weeks ago and the staff were saying that they were going under.

sansucre · 19/11/2014 15:45

I noticed the 'new in' section had vanished too!

Given all the discounts recently, I've been wondering if My-Wardrobe were about to go under again. Didn't they almost call the administrators in this time last year and an investment company saved them at the last minute.

It's such a shame, a few years ago, My-Wardrobe used to be one of my favourite sites but they seem to have really lost their way recently. I love that they stock Carven but they don't stock it in a 34 which seemed silly and prevented me from ordering from there. Although they have lots of lovely things, there's rarely anything that shouts 'buy me'. I hope someone with a decent vision comes in and save them.

mycatlikestwiglets · 19/11/2014 15:58

They have a fantastic loyalty scheme too. I agree sansucre they seem to have lost their way. I had hope for them when they were bought out last year but I wonder if this is the beginning of the end now.

PrimalLass · 19/11/2014 16:10

I have some bargain Uggs to send back that I bought with the last good discount. I'll just ebay them instead I think.

aniceearlynight · 19/11/2014 16:34

I bought a BA&SH dress from them a few days ago as they are one of the few UK stockists but bought on a credit card as it cost more than £100 & that gives Section 75 protection. Not looking forward to the palaver if I have to return though. If you know exactly what you want and your size there are some v good prices to be had with the current discounts i.e. Joseph Man coat £565 in Selfridges, currently £339 on the MW website.

u32ng · 19/11/2014 20:24

Hmm I didn't know about any of this but I have to say I did wonder in the back of my mind if they were in trouble. I wasn't expecting such reductions until closer to Xmas (when net a porter dos their sale last year). And I'd been getting loads more emails from them. Hmm, hope I get my trainers!! Good thing is I know they'll fit so as long as there's no other issues I'll not order anything else for the time being just in case!

Looks like it's serious

deweydells · 22/11/2014 18:38

OP did your trainers arrive? I'm thinking about ordering a jacket but can't decide whether to risk it.

u32ng · 22/11/2014 22:13

Hi, no I'm still waiting on them but only because I've had to reschedule the dpd delivery by a week so that I'll be in. Looks all on track at the minute tho! Not that I could afford to buy anything else just now anyway, but all these posts have me a bit spooked and I wouldn't be ordering if I hadn't already. Unless it was via credit card and I could maybe get the money back if things went tits upConfused

I ordered a bag last week and it came in two days. Very pleased with the service and my bargain bag !! Glad I didn't know about them being in trouble as it would definitely have put me off Smile

plasticbanana · 25/11/2014 21:34

Just got a dispatched message for my BeckSondergaard scarf Smile

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 25/11/2014 21:44

The bag I wanted has sold out Sad

Shadow1986 · 25/11/2014 21:49

Definitely going under - they have hardly anything left on their website!

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 26/11/2014 08:13

I'm stalking it in case my bag comes back into stock due to a return, but it's vanishingly unlikely.

I just bought a dress and some jeans I've been eyeing up - had a code for an extra £20 off when you spend over £100 too so I put them through as separate orders and saved £40! I wonder how much bigger the discounts will get...

u32ng · 09/12/2014 21:46

70% off now!Shock
I'm just waiting for the email that says they're no longer in business...
