Tell me I'm being stupid

I had my hair cut today, pretty drastically. I tend to not wear it down, ever. Mainly because of a long history of bullying and snide comments over my hair. I like the new cut BUT it was meant to be able to be tied up, and it's too short
Now I'm panicking
Ridiculous I know

I felt I had to come back and post (bloody nest of vipers you all are!)
Mainly thanks to this thread I got a little bit braver, have been wearing hair down nearly all the time now
I also do a teeny bit of plus size modelling but have avoided portrait/head shots because I didnt like my face or hair. Got a casting and anyway... I cried when he sent them to me. Here's one of them
