Have they shrunk in the wash or are they now catering only for the tiny footed among us?

I tried to buy a pair of shoes from there at the weekend. Tried the 7, too small, tried the 8 too small. They don't do 9s in that range! Normally I wear a 7 - 8 (6 1/2 in Clarkes).

Anyone else noticed this? Are they going the way of Primark?
