Christmas party attire

I need some help finding something to wear through the festive season.

I've put on quite a bit of weight this year (sad) so I'm really dreading all the dressing up to come!

I'm 5ft 5 tall and a pear shape - in fact I think my arse starts at my belly button and goes down to my knees Sad

I don't want to wear anything tight this year - also my arms are flabby so I need to hide those too. So I'm basically thinking a sack would do!

Any ideas?

Maybe something 50's?
Lindybop do some lovely dresses.
If you prefer one without sleeves you could add a bolero to it.

What size dress are you?

I don't think 50's will suit me - anything with a big skirt will be too OTT For the events I have. Anything pencil like will just accentuate my huge fat arse.

Depending on the style of dress I'm probably a 10 - 12?

ASOS have some lovely going out dresses.

And at a size 10-12 you do NOT have a 'huge fat' ass!
Blimey, I was originally looking at the curve range.
