Leather midi with opaques?

Saw a lovely leather midi skirt today with just the right shape for me, I'd love to try it, only thing is I don't show leg skin! Would a leather midi look right with opaques? What footwear would go with it?

I wear my leather midi with opaque sand stiletto ankle boots for going out or slouchy lower heeled boots for day. Am short so always heels

Thanks I think I'll have to try it out to see if it works for me, have ordered it..looks like it will keep me warm at least!
