False nails- which ones?

For Christmas I'd like some nicely painted fingernails, I need to go false.

I cannot grow my own because I need to wear vinyl gloves at work and wash my hands 40+ times a day at work, not including what I do at home.
My nails need to be short and clean.
I cannot wear any nail product at work, but even when I'm on holiday , if I use OPI Nail Envy , I'll get some length but I don't want to pamper them and have one split.

I have quite small hands and nails.
I'm looking for a shortish oval (not square) plain nail that I can paint/remove colour/repaint and take the nails after a few days (no acrylics or shellacs)

Any recommendations? TIA Smile

I've used elegant touch stick on ones before. They are fine for short term and seem to be nail shaped iyswim. I think they come in a range of sizes.

Thanks, I had a look on the Boots website, I saw those ones ( just plain not French polished or coloured ) I will have a look IRL. Smile

Stick ons are ok for a one off, but they have a tendency to fall off if you have oily nails (so buy two packs and bring spares), and if they don't fall off they can damage your own nails if you pull them off (remover takes forever)
