Help me find some warm but cheap gloves please

My fingers are pretty much permanently frozen! I am terrible for losing gloves though, so don't want to spend much. I tried leather ones in M&S today and they were nice enough, except I felt a bit pervy in them. Plain old knitted ones aren't warm enough. Tia.

Get yourself to Primark-brown suede gloves are like £8 or something and so warm

LaCerbiatta · 16/11/2014 15:24

Definitely the heat-tech ones from uniqlo.

LaCerbiatta · 16/11/2014 15:26

We haven't got a Uniqlo here, and I try not to shop in Primark. Thank you both, though.

I think we need a list of acceptable shops here then

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/11/2014 19:55

Have got most shops. M&S, Debenhams, HoF etc etc.

Poundland have knitted ones with a thinsulate layer, I think you can guess the price. I've bought lots of pairs because I too lose them.

CMOTDibbler · 16/11/2014 20:07

I've had a number of thinsulate ones from the garage which are a) cheap and b) cosy. Not things of beauty, but I'd rather have warm hands.
You can also layer silk liner gloves (from outdoor shops) under other gloves to make them much warmer
