Control Pants - Spanx or other ?

I am a large 18. I like wearing dresses but have a very wobbly tummy which \I'm self conscious about. what control pants would give me a beter silhouette - are spanx worth it ? I would like to be comfortable in them if at all possible ....

I think Spanx are worth it. Silly price and a bugger to get on but they smooth you out better than any others I've tried. Once they're on, they're comfy. TK Maxx sometimes have them at bargainous prices.

I think that maidenform are better than spanx (figleaves have a good selection)
Cheaper, smoother feeling fabric, do the same job.

Spanx for me, the ones that have high waist and long legs like crazy ugly cycling shorts
