Yellow coat for a 2yo?

Has anyone seen any?

Ideally a duffle coat, but anything warm with a hood would do.

I need one in size 2-3, the cheaper the better Smile

There's a lovely one on the Zara website.

tethersend · 14/11/2014 00:02

Thanks all- not keen on the Zara one and LOVE that customisable one, but too expensive to get covered in snot and leaves on a daily basis Grin

Thanks Juniper, I think I'll order the orange Verbaudet one.

Its a shame about the price. Saying that, if you have another baby then it could be used again lol....
I love the apple green one.

tethersend · 14/11/2014 12:07

Arf at having another baby as the cheap option Grin

It's a really good find, thanks. Are you going to get one?

My dd is 3 and a half but she has a pink duffle coat that she inherited from her big sister! She is my last baby so i dont have anyone to pass if on to and she has hundreds of jackets passed down [ive literally not needed to buy any clothes for her since she was born] so i honestly cant justify it especially at that price. I do justify buying some joules dresses for my 8 year old because i always think she will pass it on to her younger sister. It is supercute though.

Try Boden. My daughter has a yellow duffel from there (I think its called the 'Funky Duffle' in mustard). Its really great, She has has it for 2 years now and is still going strong.

tethersend · 14/11/2014 13:41

Sounds great, but they don't have any yellow ones this year. The purple one is nice, but £60. It was still £45 with the 25% discount code...

Thanks nottheop (PLEASE start a thread, BTW Grin)- the first one is nice but beige, and the second is lovely but not warm enough for a winter coat.

OP posts:
tethersend · 14/11/2014 13:57

The third is lovely, but sold out...

The amazon one is in the US, so shipping would be £££

OP posts:
tethersend · 14/11/2014 14:17

Thanks, but even without taxes it would be £45 delivered. Last time I ordered something from the US (a vintage coat for me) I got hit with a £60 customs charge.

If you don't mind second hand pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=141469395299

WhereIsMyHat · 15/11/2014 00:04

Sorry, that's a 7-8 despite searching for 2-3. Ignore me.

A friends of my eldest DS had the grey with yellow lining version which is also lovely.

Bordersmummy · 15/11/2014 00:04

Practically every child where I live has a Jo Jo Maman one, which is (admittedly) lovely. I even saw a mum in an identical looking one last week.

This

Bordersmummy · 15/11/2014 00:06

Oh someone beat me to it. Everyone round here must let their children freeze then. But you could always put a jumper underneath....

LBOCS · 17/11/2014 00:10

I love the JoJo one and my relatives (who live in much cooler climates than the UK) say you should always layer rather than put on something thick - it's much easier to adjust temperature that way.

nottheOP · 17/11/2014 18:31

I found one today. In m&co

tethersend · 17/11/2014 18:55

Thanks- can't find one on the M&Co site unfortunately... Was it a boys' or girls' one?

I'm not buying a coat which needs loads of jumpers underneath to keep the child warm, but thanks for trying- I'll definitely get the JoJo one in the spring Wink

It is a boys coat. Sorry.

There's a girls yellow almost duffel coat on the next website. Don't know how warm it would be though.
