Nivea Express Hydration Primer

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, on top of my Vichy Aqualia Thermal serum. I love the smell and texture of the primer, but has anyone else found that it made their skin sting slightly? I've developed a slightly rough bumpy patch around my jawline as well, that I've only ever had before with a tester of Clinique's Super Defence.

I've gone back to work after ML recently and I originally thought that it might be the sudden wearing of make up 4 days a week, but I think it might be the primer.

Thinking about the Avene Hydrance Optimale light instead - I like the Vichy stuff but I think their moisturisers will be too thick/no SPF.

I tried it a while ago and hated it. Sticky, yet drying on my skin, stinging, spots- it was awful. Neither a primer or moisturiser.

I found if stung on my skin too.

That's interesting. I'll try something else then.

It judt didn't seem to prime my skin. I switched to Maybelline baby skin primer which does the job

I was using it mostly as a moisturiser, because I use a smash box primer as well. Back to the drawing board!

I quite like it. It didn't irritate my usually sensitive skin and worked as well as most primers I've used.
Which skin type one did you use?
