Is it waterproof ?

I'm keen to know too! Tempted by the 25% off and the birthday dosh burning a Hole in my pocket

I used to have one. I would say shower proof rather than full on waterproof

I wouldn't wear it for a walk in the country on a very rainy day. That's where you need your Goretex.

But it's fine to stop you getting wet on a 10-min school run (it always rains at 3.30pm )

Wore my Boden rainy day mac in a heavy shower for the first time yesterday and ended up with sopping wet hair. The rain seeped right through the seams on the top of the hood. Now that it's dried out there's a big water stain on the lining. Bloody shower only lasted for 5 minutes. I'm not happy and will be sending it back.

I wish Boden would call it The Light Shower mac so.
So it's not the answer to my prayers.
Bucketing down here now.

Agree - showerproof-good size hood if you have lots of hair -or a big head (or like me both!)
