having a minor post birth hormonal melt down...

I have an event to attend tonight, I need to wear a nice dress, not a ball gown or a cocktail dress just a smart day dress.....but nothing I have suits me, my wardrobe was perfect for my pre pregancy shape but 12weeks post partum my shape has changed and my once hour glass shape is now more of a pair....what suits a pair shape?? what dress cut HELP .

Post patrum dressing can be a real conundrum.

I didn't go in the end , I really couldn't find anything I felt happy/comfortable or confident in, pulled a massive hissy fit and sent DP without me and the baby, and told him to tell everyone I was tired and baby was grumpy after jabs.

He didn't mind came home pissed as a fart at 3am and fell asleep on the living room floor haha .
