Christening outfit help please

DD (8) and DS (3) are being christened next weekend. Going to be a very small celebration with only immediate family and godparents.

I am really struggling for something appropriate to wear for myself (short, normally a 12ish but 6 months pregnant) and the kids. Do all girls wear a white dress or are colours acceptable? Should my son wear a tie?
