Help me find a specific dress please

This is a little like the Tethers boots thread - ie I want a very, very specific thing which may or may not exist.

This is closest picture I've found, but I could live without the big buttons. Basically, I want a Wednesday Addams-esque dress, mini at best or just above the knee at a push (but bearing in mind that I am a short arse). It has to have the white collar. Three quarter sleeves would be the best, but long or even short or sleeveless would do at a push. The fabric must be 'naice.' It can't be over £80 or so, ideally, but up to £100 if it is perfect. Must be a real life shop rather than online.

Please help! :)

Gorgeous, Noddy - but I can't afford it and cba with online. I don't think we have a stockist here. Really, really lovely though. :(

Definitely not online? I can find you about 3 or 4 in online shops

SocialButterfly · 05/11/2014 17:44

Just incase you will consider online here

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/11/2014 18:03

Deffo not online.

Wallis stuff usually nasty fabric, Noddy, and no collar - if I can find a collar, I have plenty of plain black dresses already.

Are you okay btw? Better?

Yes am ok ish. Had a bad day this week but will be fine by weekend I hope Thanks for asking x

CheersMedea · 05/11/2014 18:06

What about buying a normal black dress and getting the drycleaners/alterations shop to sew a white collar into it?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/11/2014 18:14

Glad to hear that, Noddy.

Good idea, Cheers - if I'm desperate I might try that, but would prefer to just buy a dress if I can find one. :)

I have one of these detachable collats Could that work? They look odd but ace under jumpers without the bulk

ALittleLemonTwist · 05/11/2014 19:29

Detachable collar even

AwkwardSquad · 05/11/2014 19:37

Just seen this but it's poly mix material...

AwkwardSquad · 05/11/2014 19:40

Oh and online. No good at all.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/11/2014 20:21

Lemon - that is lovely but I just want to walk into a shop and walk out with what I want, with no faffing online.

Sisley one is lovely. We used to have a branch years ago.

That's lovely. I love velvet dresses.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/11/2014 22:07

It'll be at least a foot too long but might be worth a look. :)

MrsLettuce · 05/11/2014 22:08

Yes, lovely indeed. Velvet is always a good thing.

You, who said a white collar and never deviates from brief Shock
