Eyeliner

I've finally got the hang of eyeliner using a product that works for me (Laura Mercier tightline) but I'm getting a little smudging around the crease of my eye. I've tried dabbing a bit of mineral powder on before applying the eyeliner but it's not much help. Any recommendations from makeup gurus out there?

After you apply the eyeliner, set it with a same colour matte eye-shadow. That way it won't transfer .

Have you tried using an eye primer?

I think a primer is maybe what I need. Thanks!
