boots: black or burgundy

I need help with boots. I need a new pair. This will be my only pair until they fall apart.

I live in black (trousers, coats, jackets) with a bit of monochrome and navy.

I cannot decide if I should go for black or burgundy. wwyd?

If you live in black then burgundy as it'll add something different to your outfit but will go with what you wear. I buy black because I wear loads of colours so they have to match almost anything!

I would probably think I should get the burgundy but then buy the black as I always buy black boots!

I would get black if you'll only have one pair. I think the burgundy are too distinctive and you'll get fed up of them being the thing in every outfit.
