Where to find smartish rain coat?

Hi everyone, I've never posted here but wondered if you can help...

I'd like a rain coat so I can go out in the rain with a baby buggy (not enough hands to hold an umbrella!). I'd like it to look not too scruffy (ie reasonably smart) and to be knew length. I'm also wide on hips so a more "flared" shape would be a bonus. I've looked at my usual shops (john lewis, m&s etc) but couldn't find any that I liked.

Does anyone have any idea of where else I could look? Thanks!!

The boden rainy day coat meets all your requirement Smile

I found a gem on eBay avoca brand knee length with a hood patterned with a small elastic part in small of back to give to it a more fitted look. Boden nice but very distinctive and a nightmare if you clash with a work colleague or mum in playground with the same one

Seasalt?

I bought this which was wonderful when my daughter was a new born. I am 5ft 9 and it is about knee length, slightly small fitting to size though.

I get cross that so few coats have hoods - I don't have enough hands free for an umbrella!

What about www.happyrainydays.com? I have one and it's lovely.

Hi OP. Suggest you check out this thread. It's been going for years so some of the earlier stuff is no longer available, but it's been added to every year. I wonder if there is a new thread as I note it filled up last week...
